Data Engineer - Azure - West London

I've partnered with a world leading manufacturing provider to support them in their hunt for an experienced Azure Data Engineer as they work on building their BI & Data team. You will report directly to their Data Architect and work closely together with the goal of advancing their Azure practices.

This role will allow you the chance to gain hands-on experience working alongside Azure experts, whilst also having the chance to upskill and gain certifications. As they're at the inception of their Azure journey, you will be given the autonomy and influence over the direction the projects take moving forwards.

As there is great emphasis on the team being highly collaborative, encouraging innovation, you will be working on a hybrid basis - joining the rest of the team in the West London office 2 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining 3 days.



Essential Skills -

* Strong knowledge of SQL
* Experience using Azure Data Factory for ETL
* Experience working with Azure Data Lakes



Desirable Skills -

The skills and experience below are not essential to the role, however, it may be beneficial to note any experience with the following:

* Azure SQL.
* Data Modelling experience.
* Experience using SSIS for ETL.
* Previous experience working on migration projects from on-prem SQL to the Cloud.
