SQL Sever DBA

An international organisation are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator to join their team in Central London (near Tower Bridge). They pride themselves on their close-knit high-performing culture and, as such, are looking for someone to come into the office 4 days per week along with the rest of the team.

You will be joining their established IT team, but will act as the sole Database Administrator within the team, making this an exciting opportunity to take ownership of their organisations servers in a production environment - looking after their Live, Replication and Reporting data servers.

Interestingly, they have around 20 servers at the moment with most being on-premise, but do have a couple in the cloud and are utilising both Azure and AWS, making this a really exciting opportunity to get some exposure to working within a cloud environment!

You will be actively encouraged to identify opportunities for improvement and bring new ideas to the table, in an environment that is really receptive to positive change - meaning that this is a great opportunity to take a lead role in making a real difference to this organisation!

Requirements:

* Prior experience working as a SQL DBA including: performance tuning, backups, recoveries, high availability, always on
* Experience with Azure or AWS is not required although an interest in this would be beneficial.
* Ability to work independently and take the lead on managing the servers
* A clear passion and enthusiasm for what you do!

Benefits:

* Salary up to �55,000 depending on experience
