Salary- Up to £75,000- Depending on Experience.

Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Senior SQL DBA, for a growing company within the financial sector. This role offers a huge amount of variety, excellent development opportunities, and exposure to work within Azure.

You will join a team which Builds, transforms infrastructure services and implements Public/Private Cloud technologies. You will play a key part in designing, documenting database architecture and providing data modelling diagrams for the wider business.

Role & Responsibilities

• Performance Tuning and Optimisation of the highest standard.


• Delivering High Availability and Always On.


• Some development and automation with Azure and Powershell/Jenkins.


• Construct work flow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications


• Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes

Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience with SQL/ Azure SQL Server


• Maintaining high availability of all databases


• Experience- Clustering, Mirroring, Backups and Restors


• Stakeholder Managment
