Engineering Manager, Surrey (Hybrid), £85K



We are excited to present a great opportunity to work with an exciting client of ours expanding their business and creating new avenues to change and create new dynamics!



We are looking for a Software Development Manager to help drive this change using their expertise in .NET and Azure knowledge/ experience withing platform, data and devops engineering.



You will be key in driving the businesses growth, coaching members of the team, discussing plans with stakeholders, working with architects and organising daily Scrum meetings.



The chosen Software Development Manager will not necessarily need to have already managed a team in previous experience but a good understanding of what it takes to run a team and project. You will need excellent communication skills to collaborate and designate instructions to both the team, clients and other managers in the business.



Technical expertise required

* Strong technical background in Development
* Recent hands-on with technology using C#, .NET, SQL
* Data experience proficient with tools such as Datalake, Databricks etc
* Proficient with Azure including Azure DevOps, Azure API, Azure SQL



Ideally

* Ready to step up into a management role
* Previous leadership experience/ responsabilities
* Previous experience looking after or managing a product

Salary: £85,000 DOE

Office location: Surrey

Remote/ On site: Hybrid. 2-3 days' in office
