I'm working with my client who is looking to hire DevOps engineers to join their own data platform product team. The platform is an adaptive industry eco-system used by companies looking to reduce costs, find new insights and be more sustainable. Their product provides secure connectivity between industry players by connecting domain experts and data scientists who exchange datasets, applications, Api's and insights.
As a DevOps engineer you will be working cross functionally amongst the product teams in the Maritime, Oil and Gas or Energy industries on a mixture of greenfield and brownfield projects.
Role requirements:
* Knowledge of Linux operating system
* Containers and container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes)
* Experience in scripting (ex. PowerShell, bash)
* Infrastructure as a code knowledge (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep)
* Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker, Podman, Helm, Kustomize, Flux)
* Familiar with continuous integration and deployment, Gitops methodology
* Fluent English speaking
* University degree in a relevant technical discipline is required
Bonus skills appreciated are:
* Experience in operational processes (Disaster recovery, Deployments, Rollbacks)
* Familiarity with security tools used (Opa, Trivy, Sops, Snyk)
* Monitoring, logging and alerting tools in Azure
* Networking knowledge
* Developing and consuming RESTful API services
* Familiarity with C# language
