I'm currently looking for an ambitious Support Engineers looking to progress in their career!

If you have a background in support and would like to expand your skills in a Microsoft focused security role this could be the ideal position for you.

The company offer an extensive client base that you'd get to work! Your role would include providing support service by acting as a single point of contact for all IT issues and queries. Involves taking initial contacts from the SSC customer base and ensuring through a process of triage whether to resolve at contact or assign for resolution. The role is based at the SSC in Peterborough and involves maintaining a high standard of communication and customer service through various contact channels, assisting in projects as well as providing support for their users. Your main responsibility is to support and work with the latest MS technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft Azure & Office 365).

Experience required

* Previous experience in support and knowledge to a 2nd line level .
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Pro-active attitude with a desire to help people
* Ability to take ownership of and progress problems through to resolution
* Experience of working in a Service Desk focused environment either with in-house IT teams or as part of a customer service environment
* A highly customer focused individual that proactively raises the profile of IT and the SSC within the customer environment they support

Technical understanding of the following:

* Office 365
* Windows Server (2012 / 2016 / 2019)
* Active Directory
* Windows networking
* Basic routing, switching and Firewall rules
* Printer troubleshooting
