Data Analyst

Data Analyst - £45,000 per annum DoE

I am currently working with a well established retail business who are looking for a Data Analyst to join their growing data team. The organisation are looking for an experienced individual who can add value to the team and help drive decision making by delivering key insights into customers or market trends. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other analysts in the team and be given the platform to share your knowledge and experience with them. You will also be given the opportunity to develop you skills further with the organisation prioritising colleague development. Therefore, you will have the chance to undertake funded training courses. The organisation are also going through a large digital transformation project at the moment, migrating the data platform into Azure so now is a fantastic time to join a hugely successful organisation which invests in its data function.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

* Analysing data and creating tangible insights that can make improvements to business processes
* Analyse the success of marketing campaigns and giving recommendations for the future
* Create custom visualisations and reports in Power BI
* Identify patterns in data
* Work with large, varying data sets from a number of different data sources

This is a salaried role paying up to £45,000 per year depending on experience. This is primarily a remote opportunity but you would be required to attend the companies office in Staffordshire twice per month for team meetings and social events. To be successful in this role you will have.

* Strong T-SQL skills
* Power BI experience to create reports and data visualisations
* Experience using Excel and PowerPoint for further analysis and visualisations
* Excellent communication skills
