Pricing Analyst - Job Description

Nigel Frank International are proud to be working alongside an award winning insurance provider who are on the search for a Pricing Analyst to join their well established team. The organisation have been providing health, life and income protection insurance plans across the UK for over 30 years and have been trusted by their many customers to provide a high quality level of service.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Power BI and Excel with exposure to using Macros to automate processes. Within this role you will be using Power BI on a daily basis to create new and maintain existing reports for the business, working alongside the Technical Pricing Manager in pricing modelling to determine potential pricing strategies to enable the business to improve it's renewal and new business pricing. Strong communication is a must for this position, you will be working in a collaborative manner with both Third Party Administrators to assist in effective management of aggregator pricing tools, as well as working closely with the IT department to cleanse data and improve the integrity of resultant reporting. Role & Responsibilities

* Create new and monitor existing Power BI reports for the business to utilise in pricing modelling to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies.
* Work alongside the internal IT team whilst simultaneously collaborating with Third Party Administrators to improve reporting and effectiveness of pricing tools.
* Extract raw data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive commercial reports for the business to use.

Skills & Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of Power BI, ability to create reports and dashboards.
* Proficient skill within Excel, VBA macros and pivot tables.
* Confident in presenting to and communicating with senior stakeholders up to C suite level.
