Technical Pricing Analyst - Insurance

An international insurance company are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst with skills in Power BI, as well as insurance industry experience, to join their Pricing team. This is a hybrid role, where you will be required to come into their office near Farnborough 2 days per week, with the rest working from home.

In this role you will work closely with the Technical Pricing Manager in pricing and process optimisation, as well as data analysis with the goal of supporting long-term profitability.

This will include pricing modelling to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies to support annual renewal processes, enabling the company to improve both its renewal and new business pricing. You will also aid in identifying and quantifying erroneous pricing and close down anti selection through pricing or product recommendations.

You will also extract and cleanse data from a variety of sources, and blend it to create meaningful commercial reports in Power BI to support profitability goals, as well as managing and developing a suite of exception reports, making these automated where possible.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a pricing role, with a background in insurance
* Strong experience with Excel, VBA macros and pivot tables
* Experience with Power BI
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Benefits:

* Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
