Software Development Team Lead Role

I am actively working with a client right now who is the go to partner for RFID based Paas applications in Europe. They are looking for someone to come in as a Team Leader as part of the Customer solutions team to focus on developing their Cloud Services.

You will be working both Backend and Frontend primarily with Python, Django, React, C#, SQL and .NET. Currently, their development is on a public cloud provider but they have plans for the next version of the solution to run 100% on Azure.

Your role will be a hands-on Team lead role roughly 60% of your time focusing on development and 40% of the time working on developing your team and various other leadership duties. This company is a multi-national/multi-cultural team of very experienced and supportive developers who offer developmental opportunities to progress through management/architectural roles for some of the largest companies across the world.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead and manage Customer Solutions Team.
* Line responsibility of the Customer Solutions team.
* Report all customer projects relating to deliverables by development function to stakeholders.
* Manage the day-to-day operations for the team.
* Make sure to deliver quality work to an excellent level.
* Co-operation with other internal development teams within the organisation.

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience in working with external and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to capture essential information and document progress in a professional manner.
* Earlier experience in a managerial position.
* Proven track record of leading in managing professional development teams.
* Fluency in English both in spoken and written; any additional languages is a benefit.
* Minimum of Masters Degree from technical or relevant studies with work experience.
* Personal Software Development skills.
