Azure Data Engineer

A well-established organisation based in Brentford are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer in this newly-created role, to help them on their exciting journey of migrating their on-premises solutions to Azure. This is a hybrid role, with time split between your home and the office to collaborate with colleagues.

You will be joining a small data-focused team, reporting into their BI and Data Architect Lead. You will act as the sole Data Engineer within this team, giving you full ownership over your work. You will be encouraged to use your experience to help this organisation build an efficient fit-for-purpose Azure Cloud Platform.

You will have prior experience using Azure Data Factory to build ETL pipelines, and will be comfortable initialising new environments, servers or databases as needed, to meet the growing data demands of this organisation.

Requirements:

* Experienced Data Engineer or BI Developer
* Experience developing ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory
* Strong SQL development skills including database development (tables/stored procedures/views etc.)
* Experience migrating from on-prem to Azure would be beneficial

Benefits:

* Salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience
