Cobol/C Developer, Antwerp region

A new client, an international company based in Antwerp region is looking to onboard a Java or C# Developer to strengthen the European team.

My client is an ICT company, having their focus in cross-platforms migration.

Role responsibilities

The job will entail maintaining and extending internally developed frameworks and libraries where the main implementation languages are COBOL and C.
*

Your responsibility will be the ongoing maintenance and extension of multiple runtime support libraries, as well as providing support analyzing and fixing issues reported against these libraries.
*

Occasionally you also organize small training sessions with our internal project teams and customers, to help them understand how to use the support libraries that you maintain.

Skills:

*

Working in a professional role developing COBOL
*

Working in a professional role developing C
*

Experience working with relational databases
*

Experience working on Windows and Linux
*

Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have
*

High attention to detail
*

Highly autonomous and willing to take initiative
