Job Title: Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

Location: Remote across South Africa

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack .NET Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a South African company specialising in the development of complex legal software products? We are seeking a talented individual to join a well established team as a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, with expertise in Angular, ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET and SQL.

This leading software development company based in South Africa, focused on delivering cutting-edge legal software solutions, empowers legal professionals to streamline their processes, improve efficiency, and enhance client services. As the team continues to grow, they are looking for passionate individuals to join them on a journey into the cloud!

You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of innovative legal software products, partake in R&D sessions and take ownership of projects working alongside the software architect and other senior members of the team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Developing and maintaining web applications using C#, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL.
* Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality and reliable software, and provide constructive feedback.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance our products.
* Help shape and plan the next phase and evolution of a core business product.
* Mentor junior staff

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* At least 7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack .NET Developer.
* Strong proficiency in Angular, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL.
* Familiarity with AGILE development methodologies
* Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
* Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).
* Experience with database and object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks such as Hibernate.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Prior experience in the legal software industry is a plus.
