Are you an experienced Dynamics AX 2012 developer looking for an exciting opportunity in the retail industry? Join a dynamic team as a Contract Developer and play a key role in enhancing our business operations and driving growth. My client is a well-established retail end-customer, operating at a large scale and offering a wide range of products to their valued customers.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Develop, customize, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solutions to meet business needs.
* Design, code, and implement various integrations with other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
* Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Provide technical support and maintenance for existing AX 2012 applications.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

* Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development and customization.
* Strong knowledge of X++ programming language and MorphX development environment.
* Experience with integrations using AIF, EDI, or other middleware technologies.
* Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS for reporting and data integration.
* Previous experience in the retail industry or related domains is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
