Team Lead - Data Engineer - Oslo

We are looking to add a Team Lead to a growing data department, and be responsible for data engineers and BI developers working across various projects

You will be joining an established but growing data environment consisting of 20+ data engineers, analysts, and advisors where you will take leadership of fellow data engineers and help expand the team further in this area

The role will consist of 20- 30% technical management depending on your preferences, experience and the requirements, along with being a contributor to the technical environment as we look to grow our environments within Power BI & Azure to expand what companies can do with the data they have

Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Leading the data engineering and platform development team from a technical point of view, and offering support & guidance to members
* Be involved in recruitment processes to grow the engineering and development teams
* Working closely with a team of data scientists and engineers to develop data pipelines for learning tools
* Designing, developing, and implementing data architecture

We are looking for you to bring:

* Education in an IT or Engineering related field
* 4+ years of experience in data engineering
* Experienced with SQL and relational databases
* Experience with Azure - Databricks / Data Factory
* Experience in a managerial or leadership role is beneficial, but experience mentoring colleagues and contributing towards strategy or team growth is also valued
