The Company:
I've recently begun working on a new position in a food technology company who are looking for senior .NET developers. Our client build systems to create meal organisations for outfits such as kitchens, restaurants or food wholesalers based on what is healthiest, most efficient and has the least impact on the environment.
The food services industry is going through a period of change thanks to an increased demand for catering to an array of dietary requirements, a diverse range of organisations with varying supply needs, and the need to adhere to environmental targets - all while remaining profitable. This is all quantified with in-depth data - our client's platform uses this data to help food service companies create the most efficient food plans, tailored to their customers' specific requirements.
They currently lead their market in the Nordics and are looking to expand into Europe following recent sizeable investment and market success, and are looking to their new hire to play a major role in what will become a world-class Research and Development department in the near future.
The Role:
You'd be the closest team member to the architect, and as such would be given great sway over planning and architectural decisions. You'd help to build enterprise-level software with complex C#-based solutions, with new features and functionalities being developed from scratch. Our client are planning to complete all their migrations this year, including migrations to .NETCore, Microservices, Azure and React, which you would be involved with alongside the integration of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into their products in the near future. You'd also be tasked with mentoring responsibilities to younger, less experienced developers.
To be considered for this role you must have good experience in development with .NET, as well as prior work with MS Azure and React. Experience building microservices would strengthen an application as well as contribution towards building SaaS-solutions. Collaboration and teamwork will be an important aspect of your new role as you will be a part of team discussions from day 1, while a desire to code to the highest standard is important.
