ERP Data Analyst - Peterborough - Hybrid - £40,000-£50,000



I am working with a client who provide fresh produce to consumers and communities up and down the country as well as worldwide, and are looking to bring a new ERP Data Analyst onto their team to assist them in their mission to maximise their innovation and technology. The role of the job is to support the implementation of end-to-end business processes and associated business systems to all of their facilities, which includes working with the business to identify user needs, log requirements and processes, design enhancements, training and so on as well as the configuration of their system settings and options to plan and execute their system integration and user acceptance testing. This means that your work will make a great impact on their business practices by defining and implementing standard processes for the company globally and ensuring that local business needs are met as required.





Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Building out and further maintaining an array of Power BI applications to provide the business with accurate, timely and actionable data and insights, as well as optimising the Power BI estate by ensuring the data is of good quality.
* Provide reports and recommendations based on data findings and providing your analytical support for new business initiatives, for example, identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement .
* Liaise with third party business partners including stakeholders and customers to maintain strong and positive relationships alongside other members of the IT Department, so excellent communication and team-working skills are essential.
* Ensure the security and integrity of business information by closely maintaining the ERP business systems and guarantee that these systems are developed and optimised to a high standard for efficiency and cohesion.





The necessary experience and skills are as follows:

* You will have 3-4 years of experience working within a software development environment where you worked to design, develop and support reports, dashboards and graphs using Power BI.
* You will have 3-4 years of experience liaising and gathering requirements from stakeholders to support the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse applications.
* You will have good experience working in an Azure-focused workplace using Azure Analysis Services.
* You will have a good knowledge and understanding of DAX query language as well.
* Experience using Excel Pivot a high and advanced standard, as well as Crystal Reports.





The following is desirable, though not desired:

* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant, related field.
* Attained or undergoing a Microsoft Azure Power BI certification.





This company works on a Hybrid basis and work between the hours of 8am and 5pm at their Peterborough base with 4 days being based on-site. They are offering a salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on your skillset and experience, per annum with an array of other benefits for their employees.
