Data Engineer (Azure + Databricks)

Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure services and Databricks.
* Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting purposes.
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
* Ensure data quality and integrity through automated testing and monitoring.
* Manage and troubleshoot production data systems in Azure and Databricks environments.
* Document processes, systems, and datasets for ease of use and knowledge sharing.

Skills:

* 4+ years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on Azure and Databricks.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
* Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
* Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage.
* Familiarity with cloud data warehousing and big data technologies.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Bonus: Experience with Business Intelligence tools and soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
