Project Manager - Charity Sector (Part-Time, Remote)

Day Rate: £300-£350 per day
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Contract: Likely Outside IR35

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of an online donation platform implementation for an organisation in the charity sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by enabling digital transformation that supports vital services.

You will work across multiple departments, ensuring best practice procurement, guiding cost-benefit analysis, and managing stakeholder relationships. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a proven ability to deliver results, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Define project vision, outcomes, milestones, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Create and maintain project schedules and governance structures.
* Identify resource needs and manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting on costs and benefits.
* Work with internal teams to evaluate technical options and recommend solutions.
* Monitor progress, manage risks/issues, and maintain project documentation.
* Oversee vendor liaison and relationship management.
* Ensure successful delivery by proactively identifying blockers and escalating when necessary.

What We're Looking For

* Strong experience in project management, ideally within procurement or digital platforms.
* Ideally has platform implementation experience and a strong technical PM background.
* Experience working in non-profit/charity organisations is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope.
* Knowledge of best practice procurement processes.
* A collaborative, solution-focused approach with a "can-do" attitude.
* Ability to wrap up later stages of a project and ensure completion to a high standard, on schedule.
