Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Nigel Frank are partnered with a leading organisation in London as they require a Senior Cloud Network Engineer! This position offers flexibility to work from home, with travel to their London office required on a hybrid basis.

As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will support our client's Infra Ops team, working on a variety of exciting technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support and maintain on-prem and public cloud environments (network, security, storage, virtualization, and server platforms).
* Manage and administer VMware environments.
* Lead technical projects, including cloud migrations.
* Analyse infrastructure and operations, providing recommendations for enhancements.
* Configure and support Azure or AWS platforms.
* Participate in on-call rotas, providing expert support as needed.
* Implement and manage IaaS and PaaS solutions.
* Develop and maintain open-source automation scripts (Ansible).

Experience & Skills Required:

* Solid experience in on-prem and public cloud multi-role support.
* Proficiency in VMware administration.
* Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
* Skilled in configurations and migrations to public cloud platforms using migration tools.
* Experience with DevOps/Infrastructure automation.
* Strong background in IaaS and PaaS.
* Familiarity with open-source automation (Ansible).
* Previous experience participating in on-call rotas.

This is a salaried role paying up to £100,000.
