O365 Analyst / Engineer

Contract. 6 Months. Bristol, £c.250-450 per day*

The Role:

Established South West Organisation seeks an O365 Analyst / Engineer to assist in the 3rd line server support activities for a national Office 365 environment aiding initially with the migration/deployment across multiple tenants, including a WIN10 desktop refresh.

You will have worked in a medium to large-scale (1000 - 10,000 users) environment across multiple locations/sites in the UK and have gained experience in O365 migrations, post deployment support and hybrid O365 / onsite MS Exchange 2010 & 2013 server environments along with, Windows Server 2012 Active Directory / Group Policy.

You will be confident, methodical and able to adapt to corporate environments and possess strong communication skills.

Key Skills

  • Provide 3rd line support of desktops and laptops for a Windows-based environment
  • Act as Desktop Subject matter expert (SME) to support strategic initiatives and tactical deployments, including current W10 roll out and running of ongoing upgrades for W10/O365
  • Use of Microsoft SCCM to build devices and deploy software and updates
  • Knowledge of Windows scripting (PowerShell/VBScript)
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere
  • Knowledge of encryption technologies, BitLocker, Endpoint Encryption etc.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016
  • Experience with Powershell scripting would be advantageous but non-essential.
  • Additional skills with VMWare virtualisation would be advantageous, but not essential although this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in these areas.

*There is scope for multiple contractors to be brought on, so strong 3rd line engineers / junior candidates will be considered - day rate DOE.
