Job Summary: The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial management aspects, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and human resources. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and providing strategic insights to support the company's financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor accounting and internal control policies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial transactions and records.
* Ensure the accounting team completes routine and special assignments accurately to meet departmental and company goals.
* Manage daily cash, check, wire, and ACH collection and reconciliation processes.
* Prepare monthly and annual financial statements promptly and accurately.
* Conduct quarterly budget versus actual analysis for various departments.
* Review and approve accounts payable, ensuring proper coding and adherence to company policy.
* Review payroll and reconcile payroll deductions.
* Record and review necessary journal entries monthly.
* Communicate with bank representatives regarding wires, ACHs, line of credit activities, and treasury management matters, including loan compliance.
* Assist in preparing annual budgets.
* Collaborate with outside accountants and prepare documentation for the annual financial review.
* Prepare documents for annual tax returns.
* Identify opportunities for departmental improvement and implement changes to enhance reporting efficiency, operational procedures, and data analysis.
* Communicate financial information and insights to senior management; prepare presentations and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in accounting or finance, including 2-4 years in a managerial role.
* Skills:

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
