Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer

Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office

Newcastle upon Tyne

The role involves:

* Data ingestion into our Azure Data Lake,
* Designing and developing sophisticated data models for analytics,
* Deploying Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps for process automation.
* Working with Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, and Python to formulate a data driven platform and develop data pipelines
* The role involves mentoring colleagues, communicating with stakeholders and great degree of machine learning
* DataOps
* Data Governance

* Cloud services, preferably the broader Fabric or Databricks suite of products; or Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps,
* Data modelling
