Currently, this organisation has offices based in London, New York, Bern, Los Angeles and Paris. They are looking to increase their headcount due to major growth and are looking for an ambitious, dedicated and passionate SQL Developer to join them.
This role falls under the DataOps & Engineering Team.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an analytical and logical mindset. You will play a key role in the engineering team, configuring and supporting data and BI solutions for the largest sporting organisations in the world. This role will require you to collaborate with a number of internal teams in order to understand requirements, plan and test changes and accurately implement them to a high standard.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining in-house data warehouses and associated ETL processes using the Microsoft stack (SSIS & SQL DB)
- SQL development tasks - maintaining and investigating into data, including querying, building stored procedures, tables and views
- Working closely with the client team and clients to deliver technical solutions
- Protecting the data entrusted us by clients at all times
- Internal mentoring and helping define learning pathways within the team
Skills and Experience
Ideal background and skills:
- End-to-end Data Warehousing solutions
- SQL Database
- Strong SQL Server e.g. tables and views within a data warehousing environment T-SQL stored procedures & functions
- Azure e.g. SQL Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Function Apps, Databricks, Logic Apps
- Power BI
- C#, .NET, PHP
