The Senior Architect reports to the Infrastructure Practice Manager and does not have direct reports. The SA role is a stepping- stone to the Practice Manager position which entails managing the entire practice.

Skills & Attributes:



* Ability to analyze customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions for enterprise environments. Note this is 70% of role.
* Ability to perform in a pre-sales role, working with a sales professional to assist in closing deals, scoping, estimating, and assisting in writing statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk. Note this is 30% of role.
* Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives
* Experience implementing Microsoft Single Sign-on solutions (ADFS, AAD Connect, etc.)
* Migration/upgrade experience with messaging platforms (On-Prem Exchange to Exchange Online)
* Microsoft "cloud" solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure)

Must have:

Expert knowledge of Microsoft's current networking platform and supporting technologies including:



* Experience implementing Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (Intune, AAD Premium, AIP) in a co-managed environment with SCCM (ConfigMan)



Nice to have:

* Windows configuration and Automation
* Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Client, Server)
* Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016
* Understanding of TCP/IP (DHCP, DNS, Routing)
* Active Directory and group policy management
* Virtualization using Microsoft Hyper-V
* Azure portal and administration experience

* Microsoft certification is highly desirable
* Previous consulting experience
* PowerShell experience
* Microsoft security software (Forefront)
* Microsoft "identity management" solutions (MIIS, ILM, FIM/MIM)
* 3rd party migration tools (e.g. Quest, MigrationWiz)
* Microsoft SharePoint experience
* Virtualization using VMWare
* Experience with Automation tools
