Senior Data Scientist - Oslo

We are looking for a data scientist who wants to help digitalise the power market across Norway!

Joining an established company based in Oslo, you will be part of a team who create AI tools to make the power industry more efficient and sustainable

Your in-depth analysis, modelling, and predictions based on real-time data will allow customers to make more data-driven decisions - increasing efficiency and sustainability throughout the industry

As an industrial setting for data science, you will be working with data from various sources (both internal and external with a focus on time series analysis

Typical responsibilities could include:

* Identifying and structuring data
* Detecting trends and patterns
* Building predictive models and ML algorithms which will be put into production
* Performing research in collaboration with colleagues and external sources to explore new ideas and technologies

We are looking for you to have:

* A strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, or similar
* Programming experience in Python, or similar OOP language
* Have good experience with data modelling and machine learning
* Experience with, or interest in Big Data and technologies such as Spark and Hadoop
