An award winning Microsoft partner is actively looking for a remote account executive to help drive new business with SMB and Midmarket accounts. Candidates must possess a hunter mentality, but no prior software sales experience is necessary. Yearly quota achievement of $200k+ in revenue are expected for the first year. We are seeking a junior software sales resource. The ideal candidate has experience selling professional or business management services, or customized software development services into the Microsoft Ecosystem and possess an understanding of conceptual selling and the sale of services as well and software products.
In this position you will:
*Be responsible for identifying and qualifying new sales projects and prospects
*Lead sales activities such as initial prospecting and opportunity identification
*Generate business opportunities through professional, and dedicated prospecting
*Present a realistic and well-controlled forecast based on continuous pipeline generation and management
*Maintain a solid knowledge of the company's solutions, and supporting services
*Define, present, and execute sales/business plans to achieve quarterly sales/business objective
You will be successful in this role if you have:
*A proven sales hunter and closer mentality
*1+ years' experience in Information Technology business development
*Self-motivating, independent, and charismatic person
*Demonstrated ability to articulate business value
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
