Are you my clients new Data Engineer?

My client is looking for someone with a strong software mind-set and skills who can develop and lead data solutions for their clients.

My client is a small consultant boutique, with 10 people, working with the biggest corporates in the Nordics.

They have strong capabilities within big data and together with their clients they are building working within manufacturing intelligence, IoT and showing how AI can leverage new insights that provide automation and optimization.

My client is ideally looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who can lead big data projects together with skilled team members.

For this role it is important that you can think outside of the box, challenge ideas and see potential for my clients customers within the tech they use and also with tech they should be using.

The position is based in Copenhagen, where you will be part of a team of dedicated team of senior data engineers and data scientists.

As a senior member of the team you will be working on critical projects together with their most strategically important clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years' working experience within: Implementing Cloud solutions in AWS or Azure

  • You know your way around coding, and are proficient in languages such as: Python, JavaScript, and SQL

  • Experienced organizing, aggregating, querying, and analysing large data sets

  • Experience in implementing data pipelines and processing of structured data using Kafka, Kinesis, ECS etc

  • Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights

  • Experience with Docker

  • Data wrangling, aggregation, contextualization & visualization of data Cloud/IT Infrastructure Database technologies (NoSQL and SQL)

  • Outstanding team player

  • Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload

  • Ability to quickly and positively adapt to change

  • You are an advocate for data quality

Desirable experience and skills:

  • Consulting clients and making ideas and proposals

  • Manufacturing systems (Timeseries data, SCADA, MES, PLC etc.)

  • Big Data platform technologies and data modelling

  • IIoT devices and sensors

  • The Pharmaceutical industry

  • Regulations (GMP, GAMP5 etc, …)

  • Work with BMS and Sustainability in relation to facility management

  • Cloud certification in AWS or Azure

  • We imagine that you have a degree within Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry or similar

You will work for a small and agile company with several senior team members. Moreover, you will work for a company relatively newly established and can thus have major impact on the growth of the company.
