Job Description


Seeking a Business Applications Support Analyst, who is self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and become the Super User/Super Expert, supporting their Dynamics NAV system and all other system interfaces, particularly EDI.


My client is the UK's leading wine and spirits distribution, who's portfolio boasts some of the leading lights of the wine making world, including icons like Maison Trimbach, d'Arenberg, Fontanafredda and Sierra Cantabria.

Responsibilities will include



  • Assist in maintaining the smooth running of the help desk by logging cases received by phone, email and via a portal

  • Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting of existing company systems, particularly Dynamics NAV & EDI

  • Create documentation and procedure guidelines for system users

  • Take ownership to resolve the issues and communicate the resolutions using the service desk functionality


My client is looking for a candidate who can offer



  • Proven background in supporting desktop applications, including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, desk phone systems and IT hardware

  • Provide general IT back-up support as reasonably required

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Understanding of business processes

  • Using the Service Desk functionality, provide general first line support and administration on all areas within the Business Solutions Team
