I am currently recruiting for an excellent Technical Support Lead opportunity with a reputable Microsoft partner based in Dublin. This role will involve you being on site 2-3 days a week post-covid.

Role & Responsibilities

Technical Lead

  • The majority of the time will be spent performing the role of technical lead to the NAV/BC support engineers

  • Develop the technical competency of your team with a view to maximising their potential

Support Delivery 1st & 2nd Line

  • Manage communication with customers in a professional manner

  • Escalation management

  • Manage and resolve 2nd line cases

  • Deliver upon SLA and key targets

  • Collaborate with other delivery groups to ensure smooth workload handover

  • Work on continuous improvements and enhance BC/NAV support services

Project support and Business As Usual (BAU) customer management

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years NAV experience with NAV 2009 or higher (essential)

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge required

  • Good Functional knowledge required.

  • 5+ years development experience with CAL.

  • L/S Retail

  • Jet Reporting

  • Experience in a team lead position/leading a technical/support team as the senior technical figure

  • Experience in supporting NAV 2009 versions or higher

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English Written and Verbal

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Soft skills: leadership, ability to work on own initiative, works well with others

  • Desirable - Business Central experience an advantage

Long term this position will develop into a more senior role as the NAV support team grows to manage a consultative function for SAAS support as well as providing the traditional technical and consulting support for existing customers as the company grows over the next 3 - 5 years.
