.NET Team Lead with CMS, LegalTech

This company is the leading legal tech pioneer in the Nordics. Pursuing their vision of making justice accessible to all, these guys were the first company in Europe to create a scalable platform for legal services. Partnered with banks, insurance companies and accounting firms to offer a seamless customer experience.

Using their platform, individuals and companies can quickly find out what services they need and why. Legal services don't get easier than that. Customers can then meet their own needs using their digital tools, or they can smoothly connect with one of their lawyers.

It's the law, made easy!

The Role

As the Tech Lead for their CMS platform, you will belong to a team of 15 people who are responsible for my client's technical offering.

Currently, they offer 4 digital products, 3 self-built ones in PHP which manage their legal service for end-users as well as our lawyer network CRM. The fourth product is their web, part of our e-commerce platform, built with Umbraco and one you will have responsibility for.

You will have technical ownership of the CMS and be part of a team of developers, product owners, designers and testers.

This IT department share experiences and collaborate with product teams. Also, you will be part of a cross-functional team where colleagues from marketing and E-com are included and where you will together build a world-class legal services E-commerce.

The CMS platform is now an MVP, launched in the summer of 2020 and built by an external web agency. They are now in the process of moving the development in-house and under your leadership development and optimisation, the CMS will meet the commercial requirements for 2021 and further. All integrations are made with our internal products and systems, which means that my client can have full control of the technical platform.

Tech Stack: .Net Core, Umbraco, SQL Server, Redis, Azure, HTML, React.JS

Desired Profile

Ideally, the person taking control of the CMS should be comfortable working full-stack with their main focus being on backend development…

  • Several years of experience in system development within.NET/.Net Core

  • Experience working with CMS tools - ideally Umbraco and/or EpiServer

  • Experience of SQL server
