An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Intelligence Analyst to join a highly-successful organisation in their Colchester office. They are part of a wider global business group, and you will have the opportunity to influence the BI and reporting practices of their brands across the world.
In this role you would be responsible for the development and maintenance of various Business Intelligence tools used across the business, with a particular focus on reporting - it's a really exciting time for them as they look to move away from their current Qlikview reporting and introduce Power BI, so you would have the opportunity to be at the forefront of this.
As such, they are looking for someone who is passionate about data visualisation, and enjoys speaking with stakeholders to gather requirements as well as developing innovative reports and dashboards which will inform high-level decision making.
You will be working closely with their Dynamics ERP system, and should have strong SQL scripting skills to retrieve and manipulate the data you require. Any database administration skills would be highly beneficial, but not an essential for the role.
This organisation are going through a really exciting period of technological change, and have a number of new initiatives on the horizon for 2021 to help maximize the value in their data, so it's a brilliant time to join the team.
- Strong SQL & T-SQL scripting skills
- Ideally some DBA knowledge would be helpful
- Strong reporting experience in either Power BI and/or Qlikview
- Experience working with Dynamics AX/365 or a similar CRM/ERP system
- Salary of £35-45,000 depending upon experience
- 4% pension
- 25 days holiday plus bank
Please note that this organisation are looking to on-board from home over the coming weeks - then when things return to normal, you will largely be office-based with some flexibility for a couple of days' home-working per week.
