Whos hiring? My non for profit client have reached out to me with a bit of an urgent need some assistance within their helpdesk function that sits within the 1st stage remit, however you'll get the chance to delve deeper into some 2nd line work along the way so a nice bit of upskill and progression for you.
What do they do ? As a business they are a non for profit with a financial focus so they are really trying to make a difference to the economy and support the wider market. 3 million customers to be exact which by any means is pretty impressive if you ask me!
What will you be doing? What From backups, capacity, security, hardware/software and operating system issues this role is pretty typical of a 1st Line Support so no scary surprises here. You just need to ensure you prioritise your daily workload so that you can not only just support head office but the field offices too including new roll outs and project work.
What tools do you need for the job?
* Understanding of Windows 7/10
* Previous time spent on a Helpdesk /IT Support Portal
* Active Directory
* MS Office 2010 and above with a basic understanding of networks
