My Enterprise technology driven client are on a very exciting digital transformation journey, which includes the re-platforming all of their existing legacy technology systems. To do this they have tasked me with finding a super skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join their workforce in 2021. The projects will be delivered using SAfE adopting a completely serverless micro-services architecture on AWS so it's very future focused approach.

What will you be doing? As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a robust cloud-based solution fit for low-latency, highly-available, machine learning based solutions within AWS!

You will build CI/CD pipelines and automate SDLC tasks documenting process flows & data transfer within the cloud environments. You will contribute to architectural designs whilst working closely with developers to advise on standard methodology.

This is a genuinely a fantastic opportunity to learn and work with cutting edge technologies in AWS (Amazon Connect, QLDB, SameMaker etc) that are part of a production platform in a business that aims to be their go to service in the next 3 years. 80% of the AWS services are used in house so something to really get your teeth into.

What experience would be a good match for this role?

  • You have built CI/CD pipelines and automated SDLC tasks.

  • You have strong Terraform skills for Infra' as code.

  • You possess brilliant knowledge and hands-on experience of Amazon Web Services or have worked with another cloud platform such as Azure or GCP.

  • Used Docker both within software development and production deployment.

  • Experience with Linux, Git, CodeBuild/CodePipelines OR equivalent tools, such as CircleCI and Jenkins, Terraform

  • Scripting experience (Python preferred as this is what the software engineers will do their coding in)

  • Solid history in deploying and supporting a microservice architecture right through to production.

  • Track record of working with languages such as Java / Python

Whats in it for you ? In return of your hard work ( aside from the monthly pay cheque) you'll join a business who continually invest in the latest technology meaning your own development and progression is complimented along the way. You'll leave your footprint on systems that support and protect the global economy meaning it's work to be proud of.

You'll benefit from a competitive salary and 10% pension, annual bonus, health care and a flexible working culture.
