Graphic Designer- The Pentagon, Arlington, VA- $115,000

I am working with a company that specializes in technology business services located in Arlington, VA on their qualified Graphic Designer Position. This company offers professional services and technology solutions to key components of the Intelligence and national security communities of the Federal Government. They pride themselves in helping clients become more efficient, effective, and successful. The position of Graphic Designer is designed to work with a team to carry out production of daily intelligence products that are delivered to officials at the highest levels of Government. Along with the production of intelligence presentations, other responsibilities the team is responsible for are designing materials for intelligence briefing products, official events, functions, Agency exhibits/displays, certificates, signage, and briefing.

Experience Requirements and Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visual information support functions at every stage of the graphic/multimedia production process from concept to completion.

  • Perform actions necessary to complete the design and layout of intelligence and ad-hoc print and electronic publishing products

  • Must have demonstrated specialized experience using commercial graphics or computer aided design programs

  • Provide visual information support functions at every stage of the graphic/multimedia production process from concept to completion.

  • Perform archival and retrieval of assets on a daily basis

  • Experience with professional graphic design applications, such as Adobe Create Suite 6, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver, and Adobe Acrobat and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Experience using MAPublisher, ARCGIS, HTML5 coding, and 3D design and printing a plus.

*This is a Day Shift position, with standard operating hours beginning between 0300 and 0600. The seat requires 6 hours of on-site support, and two hours remote. This is to assist with COVID restrictions and allow time for facility cleaning between shifts.
