D365 Payroll Analyst - Software Company - $100k - Remote!


Well-known software company based out of Florida is looking to bring a fully remote D365 Payroll Analyst onto their team.


The D365 Finance/Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the customer base with product related issues for the HR, Payroll and Finance product which is built on D365FO. The role involves working closely with other analysts and departments in order to provide effective and high-quality technical support services. The department consists of various specialized teams with a wide range of functions and responsibilities depending on the software application The future D365 Payroll Analyst will have a passion for customer service and embrace a customer-centric attitude in all aspects of customer success.



Your Responsibilities Would Include:



  • Account ownership and customer-centric mindset for all designated/assigned customers

  • Follows established guidelines, department SOP and industry best practices to resolve customer issues

  • Provides problem resolution for end-users, including research on various data and reporting issues, and collaborates to gain input on potential solutions

  • Provides training and best practices, and keeps users well informed on the proper use of D365FO

  • Maintains extensive knowledge of current versions of the company's proprietary applications

  • Recommends functional configurations and proposes business solutions where appropriate

  • Evaluates upcoming releases and recommends installation of beneficial upgrades

  • Effectively and professionally communicates updates to the customer by providing prompt and consistent follow-up on all unresolved issues and recording all actions in the approved help desk system

  • Builds and maintains knowledge of the database structure, configuration files, integration and business flows to assist with issue investigation and resolution

  • Escalates issues to management as appropriate

  • Follows established guidelines and industry best practices to resolve customer issues

  • Assists with the creation of documentation

  • Builds and maintains knowledge of the configurations, integration, and business flows to assist with issue investigation and resolution

  • Serves as a coach and mentor to designated team members

  • Achieves and exceeds established department and company KPIs and goals


Your Background Would Include:



  • 2+ years of experience in financial consulting or a business analyst role relating to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application

  • 2+ years of customer service experience is preferred

  • 2+ years of higher education industry experience is preferred

  • Module experience with: Payroll or Payroll Management system experience, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Procurement

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Successful completion of current Microsoft certification exams (MB-300/MB-310)

  • Must demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting fundamentals

  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Solid understanding of data structures and the ability to identify recurring patterns

  • Ability to work with moderate supervision on escalated issues and can prioritize, investigate and resolve them with minimal guidance from others

  • Experience working with customers and maintaining good customer relationships

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, gain and maintain credibility with diverse audiences

  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills and can communicate at all levels of the company

  • Communicate complex technical issues to both technical and nontechnical users in a professional and understandable manner

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with MS SQL, MS SSRS and PowerBI preferred


Salary: up to $100k depending on experience + fully remote work!
