The client is a rapidly growing FinTech company based in the heart of London. They are a cloud based company that provide working capital solutions to large banks and corporates using in house developed cloud based platforms. They are looking to expand all areas of the business with highly skilled individuals to join their already established DevOps team.
They are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who has a strong Infrastructure automation background, using Kubernetes and Containerisation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for continual improvement, innovating, automation and will be able to really drive efficiency. You will help define, implement support and maintain their rapidly changing tech, infrastructure and automation pipeline.
- Kubernetes & Docker. Deploying Kubernetes Clusters into the cloud
- Managing Azure environments from Development to Production
- Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Bamboo, TeamCity.
- Hands on exposure to Powershell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Bash
This is a Senior role so the salary on offer is up to £80,000 with a company wide bonus on top, this is not contracted but the last 3 years it has been between 10-25%.
Remote working for now and the rest of 2020 however, following on from 2020 there will be a requirement for travel into the office for 2 days out of the week. This is a very close knit DevOps team and they pride themselves on leaving their engineers to their own devices and putting trust in them. The reason this is so successful as they have the perfect balance between working remotely and being in the office bouncing ideas off eachother.
