This role is based in Worthing and will see you join an embedded engineering function tasked with putting software engineering and professionalism at the heart of delivery. In terms of customers, you will work on-site with an enterprise end user to achieve their digital transformation. Not only will these projects include collaboration with other talented engineers, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Giving you the chance to have exposure to a broad arsenal of technology.

My client prides themselves on being able to use cutting edge technology to deliver ground breaking solutions. As a product manager you will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the vision of the product being developed is understood and developed. To do so you will work closely with business analyst, software delivery teams etc.

In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.

Stakeholder Management - Due to this organisation working on an enterprise scale, you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. However above all, being able to manage expectations.

Agile background - Working with an Agile methodology aids the design and build of the right product on this scale. Therefore experience working in an Agile environment is an essential requirement for the role. This role will involve working closely with Agile delivery teams and Scrum Masters.

Communication - The ability to relay information to technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business is essential.

Although not an essential requirement, it would be ideal to have experience working in the public sector.

In return, you will benefit from a competitive base salary (between £70,000-£90,000) alongside a pension (6%), private health care and flexible working hours. My client can also offer certification in the latest technology, for example AWS cloud practitioner.
