Leading on from the success the sales team have had in acquiring more and more exciting projects, this Microsoft Partner are in the market for a Senior Architect to join the team and serve as the technical leader on the Azure ecosystem.

The role works with a range of clients, from service providers through partners and more. This business strive to exceed clients expectations and expect the same in their staff. In order to be successful in your application you should be able to demonstrate a recent, strong background working in the technical consultancy space, particularly in relation to Microsoft Azure.

The role of a Senior Architect for Azure will require you to lead enterprise scale solutions for Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS). You will be expected to lead on planning, analyzing, designing, testing and deploying these solutions. Utilizing your previous consultancy experience you will be able to lead, with senior executives of customers, the technical conversations in regards to decisions and implementations, driving these forward and mapping out the best approaches.

You will be establishing new Azure Cloud platforms for these clients so an extensive background in architectural design is imperative. Particularly in regards to matching up to the customers' needs in regards to technical and functional requirements, but also the security and wider business requirements.

Experience with both deployments and migrations is essential, and something that you should expect to be asked to evidence in the interview process.

Whilst getting to work on some of the newest tools and features of Microsoft Azure that were announced in 2019, you will be expected to come with experience in some of the below:

  • Architecture (Cloud, Web, Application, Database)

  • ARM (Azure Resource Manager)

  • Blob Storage

  • Automation

  • Virtual Machines & Virtual Networks

  • Governance

  • LogicApps

  • SQL Database

  • Azure DevOps
