A Microsoft Gold Partner consultancy who are based in London and work across a variety of sectors. They are leading the UK market in data platforms, working on some of the best MS Azure projects across the country.


The Role


This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced Managed Services Consultant to take a role in the operational running of enterprise scale Microsoft Azure data and Business Intelligence solutions. You will be involved with both delivery and managed service to ensure highly effective operational delivery of our data platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure we continue to deliver world-class applications for our clients.


Key Role Responsibilities



  • Incident resolution, deployments, patches, upgrades, and reliability and performance improvements.

  • Involvement with development operations solutions of Data Platform through a regular delivery of continual improvements, ensuring a drive towards zero incidents.

  • Development of automation on possible platforms in order to enable focus on improvement and innovation.

  • Implement, maintain, and improve the continuous integration pipelines

  • Incident resolution, deployments, patches, upgrades, and reliability and performance improvements.

  • Define and evangelize DevOps best practices to improve reliability and performance.



Additional Skills and Experience




  • Power BI and other reporting platforms.

  • Experience working within DevOps delivering important data application services.

  • C# and Python.

  • Experience working within DevOps delivering important data application services.

  • CI/CD - continuous integration / continuous development.

  • Traditional Microsoft BI stack: SSRS / SSAS / SSIS.

  • Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
