.NET Developer - Sheffield - (£25,000 - £35,000)

The organisation in question are based in Sheffield (centrally, not 40 miles outside of the city centre!) and they are keen to recruit experienced Software Developers, ideally with a good understanding of the Microsoft Stack.

The roles are 'full stack' and they are keen to speak to applicants with a background in Microsoft .NET technologies. You'll be

As an organisation, they are heavily Agile and your role will see you adopting a range of Agile methodologies as well as modern software development processes including CI/CD and DevOps. The company are focused on improving healthcare services in the UK and abroad, this means not only can you work with exciting technology on a great platform, but you will also be helping do a service for society.

In terms of the specific candidate requirements, rather than simply regurgitating the job description, I wanted to highlight a few key areas below:

Tech Stack - a background Microsoft (ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Core) is preferred, but any experience with wider languages/frameworks such as Python and Scala is also beneficial. They are a 'true tech company' and like to hire people who aren't just confined/limited to a single technology area. There is also extensive use of Azure services.

Front End Development - whilst these roles are primarily focused on the back end, experience working with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Redux, Vue, Ember) is often beneficial.

In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary, varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in an Agile environment.
