Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the architecture team in creating proof of concepts for new technologies and assist in determining which are a fit for the organization
  • Various programming languages are used or will be used in the future, must have the ability to switch between technologies like C#, Python, and Java.
  • Build into and enhance the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines
  • Be a liaison to internal and external teams and assist in the onboarding process of new components and services
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure code aligns with standards
  • Be the technical team lead collaborating on a self-organizing scrum team
  • Participate in scrum activities and ceremonies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical experience
  • 5+ years of relevant, hands-on engineering experience
  • Previous experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with highly concurrent and multi-threaded web application and service development experience
  • Experience working on enterprise level business applications
  • Experience building highly scalable and flexible RESTful services
  • Experience with the application build process, integration and deployment to on-premise and cloud environments like AWS and Azure
  • Experience building core components and services for alerts, monitoring, logging, builds, deployments, authentication, authorization, etc.
  • Experience writing unit tests in testing frameworks like JUnit or MS Test
  • Ability to work in a team environment, independently, and paired or possibly mob programming
  • Experience evaluating and implementing best practices tools and techniques for software development, leading code reviews and coaching/mentoring engineers
  • Expert level in at least one major language (C#, Python, and Java) and object-oriented design experience
  • Working experience and familiarity with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM SDK
