PRIMARY FUNCTION

Develop a highly secure & flexible Network with about 160 workstations (desktop/laptop) and Network/Software access by permissions, technical support for multiple servers, Windows & SQL Server systems administration, troubleshooting, and LAN/WAN maintenance and upgrades. Verify daily scheduled backups; provide end-user setups and terminations, and various IT asset management of company hardware and software.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Setup, Maintain, and support approx. 160 workstation related equipment and systems' users, including VOIP phone systems, troubleshooting remotely for 10 locations.

Ø Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, installing, and configuring Active Directory Security Users, VPN or Remote access to the Network, PCs, laptops, printers, cabling, and peripherals.

Ø Diagnosing user software and hardware problems, including managing the Vendors involved in the support process, and according to SOP's and SOW, SLA's, and budget parameters.

Ø Responsible for documenting and updating the users/software/hardware/network issues' progress and status in the new SharePoint Help Desk system - within the SLA's per policy.

Ø Coordinate the repair and maintenance of some IT equipment, perform preventative maintenance, maintain and troubleshoot system logs, and configure and upgrade all workstations.

Ø Manage and maintain and verify daily schedule of automatic backups of systems. Be able to do a manual back up and restore procedure, if necessary.

Ø Implement & Test Network & Software disaster recovery/business continuity plans, when needed.

Ø Work in a team atmosphere, cross-functionally supporting SQL Server upgrades, Sonic Wall firewall implementations, & O365 integrated SharePoint intranet, including a user help desk program, and Human Resource & Payroll portal services.

Ø Manage the maintenance of inventory audits of company hardware, software, phones, and peripherals.

Ø Create and align support IT policies and procedures for compliance purposes.

Ø Document new IT system procedures, and occasionally training end-users in them.

Ø Other responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager, or Executive Branch.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Five to ten years experience as a Computer Technician or IT Specialist required.

SQL Server 2008-2016, Windows OS (7 & 10) SharePoint, Remote Access & Network Security, Exchange Server, O365, and OneNote support experience required. Any experiences supporting an Integrated Accounting Module Package in a hosted environment/cloud, including SQL querying and scripting, is also required. Printer/fax configurations to secure portals

Strong troubleshooting skills, a thorough understanding of hardware and software, knowledgeable of Windows and other current security products in a business and remote environment.

Must have a good working knowledge of network standards and communication protocols.

Good verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in juggling many critical tasks without panicking, and the ability to interact with a variety of client departments are necessary.
