Your Duties

  • Ensure that consistent coding techniques and standard practices are followed
  • Monitor/track/report project risks, issues, milestones, and work completed
  • Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs
  • Drive software ideas from concept to reality in a team setting

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a financial Software Developer using Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics) in a Windows environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics including an installation and/or upgrade
  • Strong understanding of sales order processing, core financial modules, and overall financial accounting processes
  • Experience in designing and developing database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and SSIS packages
  • Ability to lead mapping and documentation of financial processes to the latest version of Great Plains
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Specific experience with upgrading Great Plains from an older version of a legacy system preferred
  • Experience with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure deployments desirable
  • Familiarity or experience with distributed logging and metrics frameworks such as Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk or similar frameworks
  • Experience participating in the various stages of full software lifecycle including requirement analysis, functional solution design, test case preparation, development management, functional testing, and delivery management
  • Experience in the banking or credit card industry is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and/or similar tools
