ERP Analyst-

Reporting to the Director, Financial Analysis & Business Intelligence the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Analyst will manage the ERP systems, primarily Microsoft Navision, for the finance department by providing maintenance, controls, data integrity, functionality, troubleshooting, integrations, change management and improvements.

Accountabilities

  • Support the finance department goals through guidance on integrations, acquisition and restructuring as it affects the ERP finance systems
  • Ensure functionality, surrounding design and configuration of the ERP system systems, including Microsoft Navision and budgeting system (IBM-TM1), meets business process requirements
  • Troubleshoot ERP system issues and errors, and clearly communicate root cause along with recommendations surrounding solutions
  • Lead all internal day-to-day efforts surrounding system operating at optimum performance
  • Liaison with and manage third party service providers for agreed upon scopes of assistance
  • Assist business process owners with process design following best practices
  • Development and maintenance of test plans with business process owners to meet their needs
  • Coordination and maintenance of multiple environments to support Microsoft Navision testing, troubleshooting, and support
  • Provide training to business process owners as needed
  • Evaluate business requirements, and provide analysis in support of all system changes, modifications, and additions needed to facilitate business operations

Specifics

  • Minimum 5 years working experience including cloud and on-premise infrastructures or related databases plus experience with accounting concepts and standards and budgeting processes
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting and/or technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Comprehensive, hands-on experience in design/configuration / end-user training / testing / implementation / stabilization post go-live in Microsoft Navision, with emphasis in the following modules: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, General ledger, Cash and Bank Reconciliation and Consolidation modules
  • Ability to liaison with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve system functionality and issues
