I joined Nigel Frank International in February 2011, as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Within two months of starting at NFI, I progressed to a full recruitment consultant. And once I became a full consultant I really started to do deals. Since then, I have done over 25 deals in 5 months and have just been promoted to a Senior Consultant. I plan to continue to do deals, am now working towards becoming a team leader and then on to the management level.

My last job worked me to death with no return for my time spent or my effort. Now every minute I put in at work is a chance for me to grow and earn more money. Throughout the interview process at Nigel Frank, our Director Kevin told me about the potential money to be made here and the career I could have. I was sold right away and everything that he has promised has worked out even better than I could have imagined.

Believe it or not, before I joined NFI I was a beer salesman. And I focused on selling to bars in Brooklyn NY. It was your typical sales job with nothing special about it. I was over worked and underappreciated with little room to grow. What makes NFI so unique is the fact that none of those problems exist here. If you work hard and do deals, you will be promoted and rewarded for your efforts.

My typical day is very busy. I always start it off with a coffee and come in ready to work. I work an east coast market and start my day by making calls to candidates and clients for most of the morning. Throughout the day I am sending emails, booking interviews, and if I’m lucky- putting deals up. We also have training session throughout the week and they are a great forum to learn and exchange ideas.

There is nothing that I enjoy more than the people and culture here at Nigel Frank International. We are a very close group and everyone goes out together. Every single day you feel as if you are working toward goals that you will be greatly rewarded for. We have incentive trips and lunch clubs in place so that consultants are constantly pushing themselves to do deals. Since joining NFI, I have had some of the best meals of my life at the nicest restaurants in NYC and have enjoyed some of the best nights out I’ve ever experienced. On top of all that, I went to London on an all-expense paid, luxury trip as a result of an office wide target we hit back in May. I also hit an individual target and am going to Madrid where I get to fulfill a dream of mine and go to a Real Madrid Soccer match. There are just so many perks to working at this company.

When I first joined I felt very overwhelmed with the technical aspect of the products that we recruit for. I soon learned, with the help of my mentor Rob Morgenroth, that this was a small hurdle to overcome. The training that I received here at Nigel Frank International helped me learn not only the Dynamics product but also the market.

There are just too many to list. I’ve been promoted twice, traveled to Europe, met and work with great people, and I am making more money that I thought I ever would.

Fast-paced, energetic and fun. The office is never quiet because everyone is always on the phone trying to close deals. Everyone is constantly striving to achieve their goals and working together to do that.
