(Senior) Power BI Analyst

Job Description

My client is a listed company with presence across the global in its own industry. They put high value on IT department and is now urgently looking for Power BI analyst to join their internal BI & Data team.

Role & Responsibilities

* Gather and translate business requirements and build-out insightful reporting solutions using BI tools
* Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the results and troubleshoot any issues that arise
* Create innovative solutions to satisfy business problems.
* Recommend & develop robust solutions in a timely manner based on requirement spec working with IT and business stakeholders
* Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

Skills & Qualifications

* 2+ Years of working experience in Power BI custom development
* Extensive experience as SQL / MSBI / Oracle DB / PowerBI Developer and with deep Server Reporting Services
* Experience on Azure Data Warehouse/ SSAS is a plus
* Motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with remote teammates and users
* Fluency in English and Mandarin is a plus
