IBM Cognos Analytics Contract Role

Nigel Frank has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IBM Cognos Analytics professional to join a leading firm on a 6-month contract basis - Melbourne or Sydney based.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, build and implement highly complex reports, dashboards and analytical solutions leveraging IBM Cognos
* Gather business requirements and assess reporting and analytics needs
* Maintain, enhance and optimize current Cognos data models, reports and OLAP cubes
* Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Cognos issues
* Create documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer

Essential Skills:

* Deep hands-on background with IBM Cognos Analytics suite including install, configuration, upgrades for on-prem and cloud deployments
* Expertise with IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 a big plus
* Exceptional teamwork skills to collaborate cross-functionally in a high-trust professional setting
* Proven strengths in verbal and written communication

Required Experience:

* 5+ years technical/consulting experience with IBM Cognos Analytics
* Extensive knowledge across all Cognos versions from 10.x through latest releases
* Proficient in Data Modules, Framework Manager, report/dashboard development
* Background using IBM Planning Analytics modeling tools preferred
